Albert is a partner at Parameter Ventures and brings over 17 years of experience in product management and engineering. His areas of focus include machine learning, enterprise infrastructure, and observability.
As director of product management at SaaS monitoring service Datadog (IPO), he launched the synthetics and application performance monitoring products. In addition, Albert was vice president of product management at streaming data warehouse Materialize and co-founder of virtual assistant Perssist. Earlier in his career, Albert led development of machine-learning classifiers for a new datastream product as a product engineer at Dataminr served as director of advertising products at video streaming service Crunchyroll (acquired). Albert began his career as a software engineer at Yahoo! and Northrop Grumman.
Albert earned an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BSc in electrical engineering and computer science from the University of California, Berkeley. Outside of work, Albert enjoys playing tennis and spending time with his two kids.
